The town's Senior Center offers transportation, trips, lunches and evening activities that are open to residents ofMore Manchester 55 and older, although some restrictions do apply to members ages 55 - 59. Eligible residents can purchase an annual activity card at the center or Town Hall, 41 Center Street, for $5. Non-resdient retired town of Manchester employees 55 and over are also eligible to purchase an activity card for a $12 annual fee, and out-of-town seniors 60 and over can purchase an annual activity card for $12, if they are members of the Red Hat Society, but are restricted to only being able to participate in Red Hat Society events. 
Town of Manchester Fire Department Station 4

Located on the south side of town and responsible for covering the south and southeastern portions of the ManchesterMore community, Station 4 has one of the largest geographical coverage areas of the town's five full-time fire and emergency response stations. This round-the-clock station is typically staffed by a paramedic and two emergency medical technicians; all are trained firefighters. The station, located at 105 Highland Street, receives more than 1,400 calls a year.
Town of Manchester Customer Service and Information Center

Located on the first floor of Town Hall, the Customer Service and Information Center was created in 1998 as aMore centralized information source for residents, visitors and businesses.  The office fields service requests and provides information about Manchester's wide array of municipal services and community resources. The Customer Service and Information Center is open weekdays during normal businesses hours, but an after-hours voice mail system and an online Citizen Request System allows the office to field requests and provide information on a 24/7 basis. 
Manchester Little League

For years, Manchester Little League has encouraged children ages 11-13 to participate in baseball, America's favoriteMore past-time. The team coaches and concessions staff are made up of town volunteers who take pride in encouraging the youth to be active in sports and create healthy lifestyles. Games are played at different fields throughout Manchester. Most games are played at Mike Heffron Field, Leber Field or Bagshaw Field. The new main field, Dettore Field, was recently built featuring lights, dugout and an electronic scoreboard.  The Manchester Little League headquarters is located at 98 Bayberry Road.

Town of Manchester Landfill

Located in the same facility at 263 Olcott Street that houses the town's Dog Pound and Sewage Treatment Plant,More Manchester's landfill accepts both commercial waste from throughout the region and certain "bulky" residential waste items, although the town prefers that residents dispose of those items curbside during regular collection days. Residents who wish to use the landfill and transfer station for disposal purposes either must purchase a yearly landfill permit or pay by individual load. There is no charge to dispose of leafs or grass clippings at the compost area. The town's Sanitation Fund, funded primarily through the landfill's commercial unit, pays for the cost of residential waste collection and recycling collection in town. The landfill does not accept food waste or household garbage. 
Center Congregational Church
