Set in a 1901 firehouse, this museum offers a glimpse into the past of firefighting with a large display ofMore historical items, including several horse drawn carriages along with a motorized 1911 American Water Tower, the only water tower to be used in Connecticut. Private tours are available upon request. Admission is free, but a donation is suggested.

The Cheney Homestead is a museum kept up by the Manchester Historical Society. It offers a rich history to explore. ItMore was built in 1785 and is one of Manchester's treasures. With the Keeney School replica built right next door, this is an educational and family-friendly outing.
