Set in a 1901 firehouse, this museum offers a glimpse into the past of firefighting with a large display ofMore historical items, including several horse drawn carriages along with a motorized 1911 American Water Tower, the only water tower to be used in Connecticut. Private tours are available upon request. Admission is free, but a donation is suggested.

Manchester History Center, operated by the Manchester Historical Society, is a museum and store that chronicles theMore community's industrial past. The center itself is housed in the 30,000 square foot machine shop building of the former Cheney Brothers Silk Manufacturing Company.</p> <p>Tours of the building include machinery and looms used by the company during its operation in the 19<sup>th</sup> and early 20<sup>th</sup> centuries. Tours are operated by donation.</p>
