In 1956, Gennaro and Carmela Sbarro came to America from Italy, with their three sons: Joseph, Mario and Anthony. They opened their first restaurant in 1967, in New York City, with a wish to create a fast and efficient way to deliver to customers the finest Italian cooking. Today, Sbarro is a chain, with Italian entrees such as meatballs, chicken parmigiana, sausage and peppers and more. It also offers pizza, pasta, salads and desserts. It is located in the upper level of the Shops at Buckland Mall, zone B.
