Panera Bread serves fresh breads, sandwiches, salads, soups and breakfast foods. It all began in 1981, when the first shop was opened by Louis Kane and Ron Shaich. Some of its breakfast souffles are ham and cheese, spinach and artichoke, four cheese, and spinach and bacon. For lunch, try Panera Bread's Orchard chicken salad, or a bacon turkey Bravo sandwich.
