East Catholic High School

Founded in 1961 with a mission to instill students with "academic excellence, personal growth and social commitment," East Catholic High School is a Catholic, college preparatory high school located on New State Road that is open to students of any race, religion or ethnicity. The school, which is tuition-based, draws students from more than 30 towns throughout the central Connecticut region. Nationally recognized as a "Blue Ribbon School of Excellence" by the U.S. Department of Education, the high school is accredited by the state of Connecticut and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
