Do most parents notice when their teenager is doing something “wrong” or when they’re doing “right”?  

According to National Geographic teenagers are a “work in progress,” and have “immature brains”.  Studies reveal the reasons why teens might be kicking and crying one day, happy the next, burping at dinner, but then have a perfect Tuesday is because teenagers are in the process of learning how to use their brain functions. You might have heard this and disagreed but it’s true!

Almost anything can create a meltdown. It is a roller-coaster ride, a time of growing for your teenage son which takes time. With good role models and patience there is a good chance your son will be just fine.

The teenage brain is slowly developing and can even affect their learning or school work. If your teen is having a hard time in math or biology class, it might be because their brain has yet to fully comprehend the logic of the material. Again, every person learns differently at different speeds and this is important for parents and the teen to know. Your son might even believe he is stupid but it’s certainly not true.
