Manchester Area Conference of Churches in Need of Food Pantry Items

MACC can feed an average family of four to six for about $11 a week.

You can help feed a local family in need this summer by donating a few dollars, a few groceries or even just a few hours of your time to the Manchester Area Conference of Churches Food Pantry.

The MACC Food Pantry distributes free groceries to Manchester and Bolton families in emergency situations. MACC can feed an average family of four to six for about $11 a week, because the non-profit has learned to stretch each and every dollar through the years. MACC receives food and financial donations, but much of its work is also done by local volunteers who take in, sort, stock and help distribute the food each week.

"Homelessness does not take a holiday and advocating for the needs of others never rests," according to MACC. "Your gift is needed and never taken for granted. Someone’s life will get better because you care and choose to help."
