The Fred Astaire Dance Studio in South Windsor is now offering classes for some of the most important people in life – kids! We are now offering youth ballroom classes for ages 7 to 9 on Thursdays from 3:45 to 4:30pm, and classes for ages 10 to 13 on Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:15.

Our youth class is a fun way for your son or daughter to get active while learning a variety of dance styles. Your children will learn our smooth ballroom dances, including the bubbly foxtrot, the elegant waltz and the dramatic tango. They will also learn our rhythm dances, including the romantic rumba, fast-paced swing, energetic cha cha and spicy salsa.

Group classes offer a variety of dance styles to give your child an overall dance experience. Your child will learn more than just steps. They will develop the tools necessary to relate with others while learning a discipline that will create confidence and pride.

No partner necessary, no experience necessary; have your son or daughter join us to improve their balance, coordination and sense of rhythm!

And for the parents looking to party themselves into shape, we now offer Zumba Fitness classes! Our Zumba Fitness classes offer a fun and relaxed environment where you can enjoy Latin music, and burn calories! Zumba classes typically help you burn 500 to 1000 calories per work-out. Classes are offered on Thursday evenings from 8:15 to 9:15. Your first class is free! To contact the studio, please call 860-648-4482, or visit us on the web at www.southwindsordancestudio.com.

Assumption School offers an excellent education, with small class sizes. The environment isRead More welcoming for every child, and values that last a lifetime are taught. Students also make friends for life. I still hang out with my friends from the Assumption School class of 1966!
