Manchester Road Race

The 75th Manchester Road Race will be held at 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24. A field numbering 15,000 runners and walkers is expected to compete. The race starts and finishes on Main Street, in front of St. James Church. The entry fee is $20 before Nov. 6, and $25 thereafter. On-line registration is available at www.manchesterroadrace.com. The Manchester Road Race Committee has published a book in connection with this year’s 75th anniversary of the Thanksgiving Day run. The book, which features a forward by nine-time champion Amby Burfoot, costs $29 and may be purchased through the race’s website (www.manchesterroadrace.com). A $6 shipping fee is added for on-line purchases.
