Three Kingswood Oxford Musicians, Including Manchester Student, Receive State and National Recognition

Molly Sullivan, a Manchester resident, was chosen to be part of the Women's Choir that will perform at the four-day national conference of KODÁLY Music Educators in Hartford.

The following is a press release from Kingswood Oxford School:

Three musicians from Kingswood Oxford School have recently earned recognition from state and national music organizations.

The students are Grace Gentile ‘15, daughter of Richard and Joan Gentile of East Hartford; Molly Sullivan ‘15, daughter of Christine and John Sullivan of Manchester; and Samuel Wiseman '14, son of Roy Wiseman and Lisa Kugelman, MD, of West Hartford.

Wiseman, a violinist, and Gentile, a soprano, were accepted in the All-State Orchestra and All-State Choirs, respectively, for the CT Music Educators Association. They will perform in the All-State Music Festival at the CT Convention Center from Mar. 2-4.

Sullivan was chosen to be part of the Women’s Choir that will perform at the four-day national conference of KODÁLY Music Educators in Hartford. Students from 32 different states will participate in the conference’s culminating concert on Mar. 23 at 7pm at the First Cathedral in Bloomfield.
