Three East Catholic seniors are among only 15,000 students nationwide to be finalists for the National Merit Scholarship

Three seniors have been named finalists in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Competition.

Elyssa Schwendy of Manchester, Rachel Franzluebbers of Wethersfield, and Meaghan McGeary of Bolton are among only 15,000 students nationwide to be honored as finalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. They are eligible to receive a National Merit Scholarship this spring.
