TELL US: Should Manchester Provide Chromebooks for High School Students?

Here's your chance to tell us where you stand on this issue.

Last week, Manchester High School Principal Matthew Geary presented a plan to the Board of Education that would see all Manchester High School students provided with a Google Chromebook that would follow them through their four years at the school.

Geary said that the Chromebooks, which would be funded through a grant from the Connecticut State Department of Education, would "revolutionize teaching and learning at the high school."

But Manchester Patch wants to know what you think about the issue? Will providing all students with a Google Chromebook help combat the achievement gap? Is it a waste of money? Are you worried about students using them for activities other than academics?
