TELL US: How Much Would You Be Willing to Spend on a School Referendum?

The Manchester Board of Education wants to see three complex school renovation/construction projects placed on the ballot of a November referendum at the same time.

School board member Kelly Luxenberg told the school board Monday that anything less would be "kicking the can down the road."

Still, Manchester residents must pay for these projects over the life of the bonds, which is estimated to be nearly $40 million even after state reimbursement.

As a resident and taxpayer in Manchester, how much would you be willing to support in a school referendum? Is doing three projects at once too much? Should these projects be "slowed down" and spread out over a number of years?
