Police want Manchester students to think about topics and ways to stand up to bullying, then design an original poster drawn by the student containing an anti-bullying phrase or slogan.
First, second and third place winners will be selected, and the winners will all see their posters enlarged and hung in each participating school. There will also be winners selected for each individual participating grade, who will each receive certificates and have their posters displayed at Town Hall.
Only one artist is allowed to work on each poster, and a student may only enter the contest once. All entries must be submitted to the main office of the participating student's school by 2 p.m. on Oct. 18, 2013.
Each entry MUST:
Be submitted on an 8 ½ x 11 piece of paper
Contain a drawing and anti-bullying phrase/slogan
Be hand drawn using pencils, pens, markers, crayons, paint, etc. The entries should not contain wood, plastic, glass, metal, fabric or any other type of three-dimensional objects as the posters must be flat for print shop reproduction purposes
- NOT include copyrighted or clip art images; all works of art must be original
