Manchester High School: "Still A Good Place To Go To School"

Manchester High School has come under fire recently for a series of controversial, high-profile occurrences, perhaps most notably a that broke out in the school's hallways Dec. 16 that led to almost 20 arrests and the .
Ryan Dube, Christopher Herzog and Tricia Goode, a trio of students in the high school's broadcast journalism class, more popularly known as Manchester Television News, produced a video recently that looked at the incident, the fallout from it, and life at Manchester High School from the perspective of the average student. The video includes interviews from a handful of unidentified MHS students, including one who participated in the Dec. 16 fight, and , and details their reactions to the negative publicity the school has received since as well as what goes on at the high school on a daily basis.
“People wanted to know what it was like now,” Dube told the Board of Education Monday during a , which included a screening of the group's video. “We wanted to show everybody that it’s still a good place to go to school.”
