Luxenberg Will Not Seek Re-election to Board of Education
Democrat Kelly Luxenberg said she wants to devote more time to her family and job.
A Democratic member of the Manchester Board of Education announced this week she will not run for re-election.
Kelly Luxenberg, a 2003 graduate of Manchester High School, told The Hartford Courant she has decided not to enter the race for the education board because she wants to spend more time with her new job and family.
In the Courant story, Democratic Town Committee Chairman Mike Pohl praised Luxenberg and said the party will interview candidates who can run for her seat.
