Local Businesses Team Up For First Ever 'Backpack Give Back'

Two local businesses set a goal to collect at least 300 back packs filled with school supplies to donate to children in Manchester who can't afford to purchase school supplies for the upcoming school year.

This year, of 717 Parker St. and of 110 Utopia Rd. teamed up to sponsor the first ever “Backpack Give Back” event.

The local businesses' goal was to collect at least 300 back packs filled with school supplies to donate to children in Manchester who can’t afford to purchase school supplies for the upcoming school year.

The town of Manchester has distributed a list of school supplies needed for grades K through 5 and the idea is to buy a back pack, pick a grade level, and fill the back pack with the school supplies for that grade level according to the town of Manchester’s guidelines. TGM Copiers donated hundreds of fliers that we printed at its 717 Parker St. location that contain the information about the Backpack Give Back event, including the dates, address of Faith Tabernacle where the back packs are being collected and the supplies requirements for each grade level.
