Free CPR Class for Youth

The Manchester Neighborhood Academy will offer a free CPR class for youth ages 13-17 who live, work, or attend school in Manchester. The class will take place at the East Side Public Safety Youth Center, 153 Spruce Street, on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 5:30-7:30 pm.

A Manchester Health Department nurse will train participants to provide CPR and choking relief for adults, children and infants. Proper use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED) will also be demonstrated.

Registration will be accepted by phone at the Office of Neighborhoods and Families Monday through Thursday, 1-5 pm at (860) 647-3089. Enrollment is limited; so interested participants are urged to register as soon as possible to secure a spot in the class.
