View Finder: Protests, Murals, and Flowers
Democracy in action on Main Street, a new mural on Spruce Street, and flower beds beautify East Center Street.
Freedom of Speech was on display at the intersection of Main and Center Streets Saturday morning as two groups with opposite opinions on U.S. foriegn policy faced off. A new mural was created at the corner of Spruce and Maple streets by graffiti artists, thanks to the East Side Livable Neighborhood Group Initiative. And vivrant colored flowers were in full bloom along two intersections of East Center Street thanks to the efforts of the Manchester Garden Club and the Manchester Perennial Planters.
