Three Manchester Police Officers Promoted

Officers have been in their new positions since January.

Manchester Police Lieutenant Jeff Lampson, Sergeant Mike Ilewicz, and Detective Dave Miele were sworn-in at a private ceremony in January, and have been serving in their respective positions ever since. The public ceremony for friends and family to acknowledge and congragulate them on their accomplishments was postponed twice due to snow. And although it snowed again on April 1, it had melted by the time of the afternoon ceremony.

At 3 p.m. on Friday about fifty people including town employees, members of the Board of Directors, and friends and family gathered in the Manchester Police Department Community Room for the formal swearing-in ceremony. Police Chief Marc Montminy swore-in each of the three officers individually, stating "these are three of the finest officers Manchester has. "
