Monday, March 21

The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room, 494 Main St., to review the Association of Muslim Community's petition for a special variance that would allow it to establish a mosque at 46 Cottage St. The commission's full agenda can be viewed here

Tuesday, March 22

The Board of Directors will hold a Budget Workshop at 5:30 p.m. in Room 293 of Manchester High School to review the education portion of the budget, which makes up more than 60 percent of General Manager Scott Shanley's $163,938,616 budget proposal for the coming year. 

There will be a Manchester 2020 Plan workshop at 7 p.m. in the Great Patch Community Commons Room on the campus of Manchester Community College to discuss ways to preserve and encourage agriculture in town.

Thursday, March 24

The Board of Directors will hold a Budget Workshop in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room to review the general government, library and information system's portions of the 2011-12 proposed budget.
