Gov. Dannel P. Malloy plans to stop in Manchester on Tuesday to unveil part of his new Comprehensive Energy Strategy, which the governor claims will "create jobs, lower costs for consumers, and preserve our environment."
Malloy plans to stop at Royal Ice Cream at 27 Warren St. at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday and introduce his natural gas component of the strategy. Malloy said he chose Royal Ice Cream because it is a small business that recently converted to "low cost, cleaner burning" natural gas.
Malloy also plans a stop in Hartford later Tuesday afternoon at La Plaza del Mercado, where he will discuss energy efficient components of the energy strategy.
