Age: 70

Party, Position Seeking: Democrat running for the Board of Directors.

Occupation: Retired Town of Manchester Fire, Firefighter, Paramedic, Fire Prevention Officer, Fire Marshal, Deputy Fire Chief.

Political Experience: Manchester Planning, Zoning and Inland wetlands Commission 2007-2008; CROG Planning Commission 2007-2008; Town of Manchester Board of Directors  2008 to Present; United States Selective Service System District 1 Board Member; appointed 2011 by Director of Selective Service for the President.

Other Experience: Serve on Independence Day(Fireworks) committee since the start; Serve on Cruising on Main committee in the past as operations manager; Serve on Manchester Heritage Day committee; Served on Senior Tax rebate committee; Served on Property Maintenance Code committee.

Why did you run for office? 

I selected to continue to be involved in Manchester by running for elected office. With my wife, Daughter, Son-Law, and two School aged Grandsons our family have a stake in Manchester's future. I have a love and sense of devotion to Manchester that runs four generations deep. I want to make Manchester a better place to live, work and raise a family. I hope the residents of Manchester will help me do this by voting for me on November 8th. 

If elected, what would be your primary areas of focus? 

The primary areas of focus for me is Listening to the residents, improving the safety in our schools along with the academics, maintaining our infrastructure as well as Sidewalks and Roadways, Maintaining our taxes as low as possible as well as keeping all our services that the residents want and use to.

What do you feel is the biggest issue facing Manchester today?  

For the past two years our team as the majority has worked in a bipartisan manner. We took the bickering out of government and worked together for the people of Manchester. Along with  fellow Democrats we vowed to bring civility back to the Board. While maintaining a fiscally responsible budget.
