Why did you run for office? I am running for re-election to continue the forward progress of updating the town’s infrastructure and revitalizing the town in a manner taxpayers can support.

If elected, what would be your primary areas of focus?

My top three priorities are:

1)     Quality Education.

2)     Maintain and improve infrastructure schools, road and sidewalks, the water and sewer system in a manner taxpayers can support.

3)     Increase the tax base and employment opportunities.

What do you feel is the biggest issue facing Manchester today?

The biggest issue facing Manchester today is keeping taxes at a reasonable level while maintaining service and providing quality education for the children of Manchester.

What skills do you have that you could bring to the community?

The skills I bring are the six years of Board of Directors and five years of Board of Education experience. I have served on numerous committees and attended many meetings to gain a vast knowledge of the town’s operations.  I have a good understanding of the town’s history.

I work as an engineer in a large international company that is unionized. This helps me know the trends in labor contracts and negotiating tactics. Skills I apply everyday at work, I also use to solve the complex issues of the town in a cost effective way. These skills include teamwork, valuing inputs of the stakeholders, persistence, organizational, planning and project management.
