The town of Manchester will begin collecting taxes for the 2014 fiscal year starting on Monday, July 1, 2013
Motor vehicle and personal property taxes will be due on Monday. A taxpayer will be considered delinquent if these taxes are not delivered to the town before Aug. 1.
Any vehicles registered in town after Oct. 1, 2012 will be billed in January 2014, and will not appear on the July 2013 tax bill.Questions related to tax collection can be answered by calling the town at 860-647-3018; questions regarding real estate assessment will be answered at 860-647-3016; if you have questions regarding personal property assessment questions please call 860-647-3015; and if you have questions regarding motor vehicle assessments please call 860-647-3017.
The office of Assessment and Collection will be open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will offer extended hours until 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013.
