Diana Says Serving As Mayor Was 'An Honor and a Privilege'

The following is a letter from Manchester Mayor Leo V. Diana sent to Manchester Patch on Oct. 4, 2013:

Serving as Mayor of Manchester for the last two years has been an honor and a privilege. The members of the Board of Directors have worked together deciding policy for our community. We have been civil, reasonable and cooperative in conducting the town's business. Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to be Chairman of the Board.

Diana is running for re-election to the Board of Directors in November. By town charter, the top vote getter among members of the Board of Director will be elected the next mayor of Manchester.
