Board of Directors to Discuss Town's Library Needs

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room, 494 Main St.

When the Board of Directors meets Tuesday, it will hold a discussion entitled "Library Needs for Manchester."

The future of the town's libraries have been in a state of flux since voters rejected a $12.5 million referendum in November of 2012 to upgrade the Mary Cheney Library.

No action is expected to be taken on the library discussion Tuesday, according to the agenda. General Manager Scott Shanley will also brief the town on the possible implications of the state budget crisis.
