Board of Directors to Consider Pedestrian Access to Center Springs Park Tonight

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room at 494 Main St.

The Manchester Board of Directors could select an option to permit pedestrian access to Center Springs Park as part of its meeting this evening.

Earlier, members of the board indicated they favored an underground tunnel to connect the park to Broad Street, but nothing has been formally decided on that option yet. An item appears on the agenda of Tuesday's meeting, entitled "Center Springs Park - selection of pedestrian access and continuity of Cheney Rail Trail," that seems to indicate the decision could come as soon as Tuesday evening.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room, 494 Main St. The full agenda can be viewed here
