Report: Fatal Crash Closes Silver Lane at Manchester Line
Police are investigating the accident, which took place just over the border in East Hartford.
An investigation into a fatal car accident in East Hartford has led to the closure of Silver Lane at the Manchester town line.
The driver of a stolen car was killed when it struck a septic truck, according to NBC Connecticut.
The accident, which sent the truck driver to the hospital, took place Monday morning and the road was still closed as of 12:30 p.m.
According to WFSB, Silver Lane is closed between Forbes Street and the ramps for I-384, and police suggest using Roberts Street or I-84 as an alternative route.
