Police Release Names of Reservoir Crash Victims

A 33-year old Manchester man died as a result of the crash, while a 24-year old Hartford man suffered only minor injuries.

According to Manchester Police, Michael Davis, a 33-year old Manchester man, was operating a 2001 Nissan Maxima when it crashed into the reservoir near the Lutz Children’s Museum at approximately 5 a.m. Sunday morning. The Maxima was registered to Natera Wittenzeller of Manchester, who was not in the car at the time.

Davis died from injuries sustained in the collision, while a passenger, 24-year old Allen Munroe of Hartford, was treated and released for minor injuries at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford. Police said that Munroe was able to escape from the car and swim to shore.
