Manchester Police have released the identity of the man believed to have shot three people to death at the Dye House Apartments on Pine Street Saturday night before turning the gun on himself. Police have also released the identity of the three victims.

The suspect was identified as John Lynn, 41, of no fixed address. Police said Lynn had previously been arrested in Manchester in June of this year and charged with two counts of disorderly conduct stemming from incidents that occurred in April.

Lynn's victims were identified as Artara Benson, 46, of Vauxhall, NJ, Brittany Mills, 28, of Manchester, and Kameisha Mills, 23, also of Manchester.

According police, multiple gunshots were reported at the Dye House Apartments at 190 Pine St. at approximately 9:40 p.m. Police responded within two minutes to find Lynn exiting the building holding a 13-month old child. Lynn shot himself when confronted by the officers, although an officer did fire a shot that missed Lynn. Police then entered the apartment complex to find the three victims dead from gunshot wounds. Brittany Mills lived at the Dye House Apartments.

The motive for the incident remains unclear, and police are continuing to investigate.

When will the media start asking elected officials to address the true problem in this state ? So far you all want to talk guns guns and more guns. Here is another prime example of useless gun laws that do nothing to protect innocent people. Mr Moran can you do a story on why criminals like this are allowed to walk the streets. A local news station reported that this monster had 30 THIRTY previous arrests. If this the case then there needs to be accountability.
