Police Rekindling 1954 Manchester Cold Case

Anna Bertha Kenneway was last seen in June 1954 and police are looking into whether her husband had something to do with her going missing.

Police are working to revive a 50-year-old missing person case involving a Manchester woman who was last seen in 1954.

The case involves Anna Bertha Kenneway, and police are working to determine whether her husband of 12 years, Philip Kenneway, was part of her disappearance, according to a story in The Hartford Courant.

The Courant reported that family members believe Philip Kenneway, who died in 1995, buried his wife beneath their garage. Manchester police are using the National Crime Information Center to assist in the investigation.
