Police Nab Known Cocaine Dealers

A Manchester couple were arrested Tuesday and charged with numerous drug offenses, including operating a drug factory out of their home, after police obtained a search warrant and found heroin, cocaine, Suboxone and other illegal drug paraphernalia at the residence.

Manchester Police obtained a search warrant for 13 Laurel Place in Manchester after reports of drug activity occurring at the residence. A search of the residence revealed a half ounce of cocaine packaged for sale, 73 bags of heroin, five packs of Suboxone pills, scales, packaging, $576 in cash and other drug paraphernalia. 

Two residents at the home, Joshua Ray, 30, and Deidre Lenkiewicz, 24, were arrested, and a small child was also found at the residence (Manchester Police contacted the Department of Children and Families). 

Both are facing charges of possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of drugs within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of drugs with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, operating a drug factory and risk of injury to a minor.

Ray is being held on a $250,000 surety bond. Lenkiewicz is being held on a $100,000 surety bond. 

Police said they also searched Ray's residence in 2008 on a warrant, and found two ounces of cocaine at the time. Both Ray and Lenkiewicz were charged with numerous drug offenses in that instance as well.
