Police Make Heroin Arrest at Niles Drive Residence

Two people were taken into custody Tuesday and charged with drug related offenses.

Manchester Police arrested a pair of Niles Drive residents Tuesday and charged them with drug related offenses, after police said they had developed information that drug related activities were taking place at the address. 

Police obtained a warrant to search 79 Niles Dr. Tuesday, and seized heroin, Suboxone, scales and other drug paraphernalia from the home. The two residents, Harley Chamberlain, 34, of the same address, and Sarah Gladkosky, 34, also of the same addressed, were arrested at the scene. 

Chamberlain is facing charges of possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school and is being held on a $2,500 non-surety bond. Police said Chamberlain also had a previous warrant for failing to appear on motor vehicle charges.

Gladkosky was charged with interfering with police and is being held on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Police said there were small children present at the time of the arrest, and that the Department of Children and Families will be notified.

The arrests were made by the East Central Narcotics Task Force, which is interested in stopping illegal narcotics sales and use in the Manchester, South Windsor, Vernon, and Glastonbury communities.  Anyone with information pertaining to any illicit drug activity is asked to contact the East Central Narcotics Task Force at (860) 645-5548.  All calls will remain confidential.
