Police: 'Impeach Obama' Sticker Leads to Baseball Bat Attack

Glastonbury Police say a Manchester man was arrested for attacking a car with a baseball bat after another motorist disapproved of his "Impeach Obama" bumper sticker.

Paul V. Guaschino, 61, of 1149 E. Middle Turnpike, Manchester, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 1, after police say another motorist’s rude gesture towards his “Impeach Obama” bumper sticker prompted him to attack the other car with a baseball bat.

According to the Glastonbury Police Department, Guaschino displays an “Impeach Obama” bumper sticker on his vehicle, and another motorist gave Guaschino the finger in protest of the bumper sticker.

Guaschino then followed the other vehicle to a stoplight, got out of his car with a baseball bat and hit the trunk of the motorist’s vehicle. The bat left a large dent in the trunk of the car, police said.
