Police Bust Up Woodland Street Marijuana Growing Operation

Two people were in custody after police broke up a Woodland Street marijuana growing operation.

Manchester Police broke up a Woodland Street marijuana growing operation and arrested two people on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013. 

According to police, after developing information that a marijuana growing operation was taking place at a residence at 417 Woodland St., police obtained a search warrant and seized four marijuana plants weighing approximately four pounds, growing equipment, packing and other drug related paraphernalia. 

Two people were taken into custody as a result of the investigation. 

Both Joseph Walsh, 33, of the same address, and Lorea Gandiaya, 22, also of the same addressed, were charged with possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, cultivation of marijuana, operating a drug factory, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Both were held on a $10,000 non-surety bond pending arraignment.
