Police Arrest Hartford Man for Selling Cocaine

Andre Story is facing a litany of drug charges after police say he sold cocaine to an undercover officer Thursday.

Police arrested a 30-year old Hartford man Thursday and charged him with selling cocaine after staging a buy at the corner of Myrtle and Church streets. 

According to Manchester Police, Andre Story, 30, of 403 Barbour St., Hartford, was arrested after selling cocaine to an undercover officer. Story, who goes by the street name of "D," was taken into custody without incident and was found to have a cram of cocaine on his person, according to police. 

Story is facing charges of possession of cocaine, the sale of cocaine, the sale of cocaine within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of cocaine within 1,500 feet of a school. He is being held on a $150,000 non-surety bond.

The arrest was made by members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force. 

The East Central Narcotics Task Force, in cooperation with other municipal, and federal law enforcement agencies, is interested in stopping illegal narcotics sales and use in the Manchester, South Windsor, Vernon, and Glastonbury communities.
