Manchester Woman Facing Numerous Charges After Knife Throwing Incident

Lisa Giano is facing a litany of charges after police say she violated a protective order to throw knives at her boyfriend.

A 23-year old Manchester woman is in hot water with the authorities after police say she violated a protective order by going to her boyfriend's South Windsor residence and then throwing knives at him. 

According to South Windsor police, Lisa Giano, 23, of 791 Main St., Manchester, was charged with violation of a protective order, first-degree criminal trespass, inciting injury to persons or property, criminal attempt of first-degree assault, second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace after police say she violated a protective order by going to her boyfriend's Oakland Road home and then getting into a domestic dispute that culminated with Giano throwing knives at her unidentified boyfriend.

Police said the boyfriend was not injured in the incident and fled from the home. Giano was taken into custody at his residence. 

Giano was held on a $100,000 bond and presented at Manchester Superior Court on the charges on Monday, Sept. 12, 2013. She is next scheduled to appear in court on the charges on Sept. 25, 2013.
