Manchester Police Nab Suspected Crack Dealer

A 24-year old Bloomfield man is facing multiple drug charges after an arrest in town Wednesday night.

Jonathan Percy, a 24-year old Bloomfield resident, was arrested in the parking lot of the Shop Rite on Silver Lane Wednesday night after Manchester Police received information that he was in the area to sell crack cocaine. 

According to police, Percy arrived in the parking lot of the shopping plaza at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in a Nissan Maxima. Police said they were working on information that Percy was in the area for a drug sale. 

Percy was arrested at the scene by surveillance units and charged with the sale of cocaine, conspiracy to commit the sale of cocaine, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle under suspension.

Police said Percy has a "long criminal history" in Connecticut and is currently on probation for robbery. He is being held on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
