Manchester Police Nab Suspected Bank Robber Thanks to Vanity Plate

Manchester Police made a quick arrest in a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at the Rockville Bank branch located at 768 North Main St.

Police charged Mark B. Little, 55, of 23 Ferris St., Indian Orchard, MA, with first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny as a suspect in the robbery. Police say that Little entered the branch around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, handed the teller a note demanding money, and then fled in an older white Ford vehicle.

The Hartford Courant reported that police were easily able to track down Little's vehicle and make an arrest in Hartford due to his vanity license plate, "GZUS."

Little is being held on a $125,000 bond at the Hartford Correctional Center and is next scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on the charges on Oct. 16, 2013.
