Manchester Police Bust Alleged Prostitute in Local Motel
A 29-year old South Carolina woman was arrested on prostitution charges in Manchester.
Manchester Police took a 29-year old South Carolina woman into custody on prostitution charges on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, after police say she was recently arrested on similar charges in her home state.
According to police, Crystal Austin, 29, of Florence, South Carolina, was arrested in her hotel room at the Studio 6 motel on Spencer Street after placing an ad on Backpage.com advertising her escort services as "Sexy Karen." Police said they took Austin into custody "once a deal for sexual acts was arranged."
Austin was charged with prostitution and held on a $2,500 surety bond.
Police said Austin was recently arrested for similar offenses in South Carolina.
