Manchester Police Blotter: Wanted Man Caught Napping...Outside Police Station

When you have an outstanding warrant for burglary and a slew of other offenses against you, it’s probably not a smart idea to take a nap in front of the police station – and it’s certainly not a smart idea to do so while drunk.

But that’s exactly what the Manchester Police Department said Christopher Scott King did recently. King, no age given, address listed as homeless, was arrested outside of the downtown police substation at 707 Main St. last Thursday after police say they found him passed out in front of the building and obviously intoxicated. Police ran King’s ID, only to discover he had an outstanding warrant for second-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, second-degree criminal trespass, conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief. King was arrested on a $20,000 bond, the second instance recently where police have .

Rodney W. Wizzard, no age given, of 101 Irving St., Hartford, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, violation of a protective order, unlawful restraint and strangulation after a domestic dispute.

Erica Michelle Brucker, no age given, of 100 E. Center St. Room 110, Manchester, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and interfering with police after police say she punched her husband in the jaw while intoxicated.

Jason Allen Fairbanks, no age given, of 94 Hemlock St., Manchester, was charged with second-degree threatening.

Adele I. Silva, no age given, of 17 Versa St., West Hartford, was charged with improper use of a registration and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

John Edward Thomas, no age given, of 38B Wethersfield Ave., Hartford, was charged with fourth-degree larceny.
