Manchester Police Blotter: Incident at Manchester High School Leads to Two Arrests

The following arrests as reported by the Manchester Police Department are accurate as of March 13, 2011. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

An incident at Manchester High School Friday morning led to two arrests.

According to the Manchester Police Department, Jeffrey Hicks, no age given, of 713 W. Middle Tpke., was arrested at Manchester High School Friday and charged with second-degree threatening, breach of peace and possession of marijuana after police say Hicks got into a confrontation with a resident on Brookfield Street and threatened to shoot them. Police say Hicks was found with two marijuana cigarettes on him.

Police also arrested Barry J. Fields, no age given, of 59 Green St., Hartford, at the high school at the same time. Fields was charged with breach of peace after police say he grabbed a student on the grounds of Manchester High School.

In a separate incident, police charged Michael Ahmad Khan, no age given, of 571 Adams St., Manchester, with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to sell Thursday after police say they found three suspicious males in a vehicle parked behind a gas station and two of the males fled the scene. Khan, the drive of the vehicle, was found with 1.3 pounds of marijuana in his possession, according to police.

March 10

Colby C Rohen, no age given, of 270 Crystal Lake Rd., Tolland, was charged with sixth-degree larceny after police said she shoplifted a cookware set from Sears and tried to return the item for store credit.

Christopher A. Johnson, no age given, of 1218 Tryon St., Glastonbury, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and misuse of a registration.

Carlos A. Gonzalez, no age given, of 380 Main St., Waterbury, was charged with third-degree larceny.

Monique A. Brown, no age given, of 80 Bissell St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace after a disturbance with her daughter at Manchester High School.

Marcos Velazquez, 31, of 111 Bonner St. 2nd Floor, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to carry insurance and speeding after a traffic stop on Main Street early Thursday morning.

Ryan P. Epps, no age given, of 107 Huntington Lane, Newington, was charged with voyeurism and breach of peace.

Benjamin P. Keegan, no age given, of 323 Chamberlain Hill Rd., Haddam, was charged with driving under the influence and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

Christopher L. Bower, no age given, of 637 Hartford Tpke., Vernon, was charged with driving under the influence.

March 11

Edward F. Juselis, no age given, of 319 Charter Oak St., Manchester, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, interfering with an emergency call and third-degree criminal mischief after a domestic disturbance involving his wife.

Cory Donovan Rankin, no age given, of 84 Bedlam Rd., Chaplin, was charged with five counts of failure to register as a sex offender.

Dennis J. Moylan, no age given, of 791 Main St., Manchester, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief after police say he disabled the smoke detector in his room at a group home and started a fire with a cigarette.  

James Arnette Green, no age given, of 15 Ridge St., New Haven, was charged with criminal impersonation, fifth-degree larceny and third-degree forgery.

James Allen, no age given, of 11 Kenneth Circle, Windsor, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession within 1,500 feet of a school, and interfering with police after police say he was found in possession of less than four ounces of marijuana and a “very large amount of cash” at the Shoppes at Buckland Hills Mall.

Felix Daniel Garcia, no age given, of 93 Medford St., New Haven, was charged with failure to appear.

Justin Brandon Lee, no age given, of 21 Irving St., Manchester, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

Ronald Leo Bowes, no age given, of 1 Clear St., Enfield, was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny, fourth-degree larceny by possession and third-degree larceny by possession after police say Bowes tried to sell stolen property at an Enfield pawnshop.

Shaumel Early, no age given, of 11 O’Brien Lane, East Hartford, was charged with first-degree trespass and breach of peace after police say he created a disturbance at a residence and refused to leave.

Ricky Keyon Williams, no age given, of 65 Sumner St., Hartford, was charged with breach of peace, interfering with police, first-degree trespass and violation of probation after police say Williams created a disturbance at a residence and refused to leave. Police say Williams also had a previous warrant for violation of probation.

March 12

Scott A. Rosenzweig, no age given, of 106 Elvree St., Manchester, was charged with driving under the influence.

Martin Perry, no age given, of 7 Seaman Circle, Manchester, was charged with driving under the influence.

Jose G. Huesca, no age given, of 8 Overlook Rd., South Windsor, was charged with driving under the influence after police say they found him passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle with the vehicle running and in gear.

Helen B. Talbert, no age given, of 1780 Main St., East Hartford, was charged with third-degree larceny, attempt to commit third-degree larceny, forgery and issuing bad checks.

David Velez, no age given, of 12 Raymond Court, East Haven, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief for allegedly stealing a DVD from Newbury Comics.

Patricia M. Cole, no age given, of 12 Raymond Court, East Haven, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief for allegedly stealing a DVD from Newbury Comics.

Aaron S. Edberg, 31, of 6 Tyler St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Clifford A. LaMountain, no age given, of 6 Tyler Circle, Manchester, was charged with reckless endangerment, third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Nateria Marie Powell, no age given, of 20 Otis St., Manchester, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, second-degree larceny, second-degree criminal threatening and third-degree burglary.

Anthony Tyrone Gunn, no age given, of 109 Westerly St., Manchester, was charged with third-degree larceny, interfering with police, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, criminal trespass and violation of probation after police say they found Gunn in possession of a stolen vehicle. 

Heather Kozikais, no age given, of 25 Marion Dr., Manchester, was charged with sixth-degree larceny for allegedly shoplifting at Kohl’s.

Megan Sadasky, no age given, of 276 Flintlock Rd., Ledyard, was charged with sixth-degree larceny for allegedly shoplifting at Kohl’s.

March 13

Khurrum Khan, no age given, of 111 John Olds Dr. Apt. 106, Manchester, was charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass after police say he refused to leave the VIP store.

Ankay Lee Colon, no age given, of 68 Imperial St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace and criminal mischief for a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.

Eric Mellema, no age given, of 32 Jay St., East Hartford, was charged with driving under the influence.

Ruben A. Baez, no age given, of 30 Channing Dr., Manchester, was charged with third-degree assault, two counts of providing alcohol to a minor and two counts of use of physical force in defense of property.

Matthew D. Orso, no age given, of 22 Kate Lane, Tolland, was charged with breach of peace.

Margarita Garcia, no age given, of 30 Groton St., Hartford, was charged with breach of peace, second-degree riot, third-degree assault and interfering with police after a domestic incident with her family.

Ebelisse Noemi Robelo, no age given, of 192 Bond St., Hartford, was charged with interfering with police, second-degree riot and second-degree breach of peace after a domestic incident with her family.

Adrian A. Vazquez, no age given, of 38 Birch St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace, second-degree riot, third-degree assault and interfering with police after a domestic incident with his family.

Madeline Vazquez, no age given, of 38 Birch St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace after a disturbance with her family.

Joshua Adam Harrison, no age given, of 513 Emmet St., Bristol, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 of school.

Brian D. Rodriguez, no age given, of 110 Babcock St., Hartford, was charged with breach of peace, second-degree riot, interfering with police and ridicule on account of race, greed or color after being involved in a large fight. 

Carolines Vazquez, no age given, of 38 Birch St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace and interfering with police. 

Shawn J. Lee, no age given, of 191 Spencer St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace, unlawful restraint and two counts of risk of injury to a minor after police say Lee got into a physical altercation with his estranged wife while Lee’s two children were present.

Laurali Lee, no age given, of 91 Charter Oak St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace after police say Lee got into a physical altercation with her estranged husband while Lee’s two children were present.
