Manchester Police Blotter: Assault With a Gun

The following arrests as reported by the Manchester Police Department are accurate as of Jan. 10, 2012. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

Henry Daniel Graham, an East Hartford resident, was arrested at a Hartford Road residence Monday after police said he got into a domestic disturbance with his sister's significant other and pulled a gun.  Police said Graham unmolested his gun and was waving it around and threatening people in the presence of several children. Graham was charged with three counts of risk of injury to a minor, six counts of reckless endangerment, two counts of second-degree threatening and six counts of breach of peace. He was released on a $50,000 surety bond and is next scheduled to appear in court on the charges Feb. 9.

Other recent arrests as reported by the Manchester Police Department are as follows:  January 8  Andrew Gregory Drezek, no age given, of 65 Mohawk St., New Britain, was charged with interfering with police, fifth-degree larceny and failure to appear. Mickayon Smith, no age given, of 51 Adams St., Hartford, was charged with breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor.  Kevin Michael King, no age given, of 2478 Main St., Coventry, was charged with driving under the influence and evading the scene of an accident.  Ana M. Mendez, no age given, of 29 Green Terrace, East Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny for allegedly shoplifting from Sears at the mall.  David J. Walter, no age given, of 92 Grande Rd., East Hartford, was charged with driving under the influence.  Anthony W. Morris, no age given, of 16 Norman St., Manchester, was charged with driving under the influence.  David Edward Kowalewski, no age given, of 45 Overlook Ave., New Britain, was charged with interfering with police, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.  Vernon Andrew Gullap, no age given, of 130 School St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace.  Joseph L. Stravinskas, no age given, of 27 Tolland St., East Hartford, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under suspension and for tinted windows that were too dark.  January 9  Gary Dowling, 27 Parker St., Manchester, was charged with driving under the influence after a motor vehicle accident.  William Santa, no age given, of 43 Garden St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault, unlawful restraint and second-degree larceny.  Paulinea H. Knight, no age given, of 12 Madison St., Manchester, was charged with first-degree larceny.  Ramon Marquez-Noriega, no age given, of 26 Goodwin Place, East Hartford, was charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault and assault of an emergency personnel after police say he assaulted staff at the emergency room of Manchester Memorial Hospital.  Peter John VonRoemer, 135 Autumn St., Manchester, was charged with breach of peace.  January 10  Farrin Lorraine Joseph, no age given, of 884 Garden St., Hartford, was charged with failure to appear.
