Manchester Police Blotter: Assault, Identity Theft and Sexual Assault

The following arrests as reported by the Manchester Police Department are accurate as of August 9, 2012. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

August 8 

Jason Philip Thibodeau, no age given, of 278 Hilliard St., Manchester, was charged with violation of probation. 

Jacqueline A. Kitchen, no age given, of 39 Crosby Rd., Manchester, was charged with failure to appear.

Laila V. Belly, no age given, of 48 Wadsworth St., Manchester, was charged with failure to a pay an infraction. 

Vincent Bonsu, no age given, of 466 West Middle Turnpike Apt. 26, Manchester, was charged with breach of peace and fourth-degree assault after police say he grabbed a woman's butt in a store as he walked by her.

Diana D. Pais, no age given, of 115 West Rd., Ellington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny for allegedly shoplifting from Big Y. 

Michael J. McCarthy, no age given, of 165 Pearl St., Seymour, was charged with identity theft, sixth-degree larceny, fifth-degree larceny, criminal impersonation, second-degree forgery and criminal attempt.

Jamie M. Schatz, no age given, address listed as Hartford Correctional Center, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, five counts of illegal use of a credit card, five counts of third-degree identity theft and five counts of third-degree forgery.

August 9 

John Jay Singer, no age given, of 156 Park St., Manchester, was charged with disorderly conduct. 

Albert Edward Scables Jr., no age given, address listed as "Tent City," Manchester, was charged with reckless endangerment, breach of peace, disorderly conduct, reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle without a license after police say he got into a dispute and threw a glass cup and a full can of beer at a victim's head. 

Opal A. James, no age given, of 33 Beatrice Ave., Bloomfield, was charged with sixth-degree larceny for allegedly shoplifting from Bobo's Stores.
