One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded money, according to police.

The store clerk handed over cash, police said, and the two men proceeded to steal cigarettes and a bottle of liquor.

After an investigation by Troop C Troopers and EDMCS-C Detectives, police located Boland in Manchester Tuesday and arrested him without incident.

Boland was charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, carrying a dangerous weapon and second-degree false statement.

Bail was set at $25,000. Boland is due in Rockville Superior Court on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

As of Wednesday afternoon, police had not announced the arrest of a second suspect in connection with the case.
