Manchester Man Arrested After Statewide Child Pornography Investigation

The Manchester area man is among 18 suspects arrested.

A Manchester resident is facing child pornography charges after a Connecticut State Police investigation.

"After several lengthy and thorough investigations, 18 people from across the state were arrested," state police said in a press release.

Arrested from Manchester was Vincent Labella, 43, of 114 Oxford Drive. He was charged with possession of child pornography in the first degree and issued a $250,000 bond.

He was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Thursday, March 27.

According to state police, detectives from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit, assisted by members of the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Sex Offenders Unit, conducted an arrest warrant sweep across the state on Thursday, March 27.

The CSP Computer Crimes Investigations Unit is also the command for Connecticut’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
