Manchester Dunkin' Donuts Suspect Arrested for Berlin Robbery

First suspect, 19, arrested and charged with several counts.

Berlin Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a Dunkin' Donuts robbery who is also a suspect in in December.

Denny Douglas, age 19, of 1125 Main St. Apt. 1 East Hartford, was arrested and charged with the burglary of a Dunkin' Donuts on New Britain Road in the Kensington section of Berlin on Nov. 27, 2011. Douglas is facing charges of burglary third degree, conspiracy to commit burglary third degree, criminal trespass second degree, conspiracy to commit criminal trespass second degree, criminal mischief second degree, conspiracy to commit criminal mischief second degree, larceny fifth degree, conspiracy to commit larceny fifth degree.

On Dec. 11, 2011 Manchester Police apprehended and arrested three suspects in the process of burglarizing a Dunkin Donuts store located at 244 Center St. in town, . As a result of these arrests, Berlin detectives developed information leading to arrest warrants being requested for two suspects in the New Britain Road burglary. The first warrant, on Douglas, was served on Dec. 29, 2011.

Douglas was released on a $10,000.00 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on January 12, 20112

An arrest warrant is pending in New Britain Superior Court for the second suspect in this case.
