Manchester Animal Control Pets of the Week: July 16, 2012
Each week, we spotlight the pets available for adoption at the Manchester Animal Control facility.
The following pets are available for adoption from the facility this week:
Meet Josie, an American Bulldog mix that just so happened to find herself at the pound. We are hoping we can be the bridge to her finding a better life. She appears to have had puppies in the past and did not come to us in the best condition. This however has not squashed her zest for life, as she loves to play with toys, sticks, or anything you are willing to throw for her! Josie does still need some training as she can get very excited and happy when meeting new people, but considering all she wants to do is please, this shouldn't be hard! Training can be an excellent bonding time for a new dog and their owner too! We are just hoping someone will grant Josie the new beginning she deserves.
Meet Addie! She's about 3-4 months old and was found wandering the streets, and is now looking for her forever home! Addie knows how to sit, but needs more work on her other commands! Addie wants to please, and is very playful! At first Addie has her tail tucked, but a happy voice and gentle hand and she is all waggs and kisses! Addie needs help walking on a leash, she dosen't really know what to do as of right now, typical puppy, she will stop and put the breaks on. We are looking for a home that will be able to show her the ropes!!
