Man with Machete Enters Drive-Thru Window at Dunkin' Donuts

The suspect stole an unknown amount of money, and no one was hurt.

A machete-wielding man used the drive through window of a Manchester Dunkin’ Donuts to invade the shop and steal an unknown amount of money, WFSB.com reported.

The locked front door of the Hartford Road Dunkin’ Donuts didn’t slow him down for long. The man, wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap, black sweatpants, a black sweatshirt, a red bandana over his mouth and gloves, entered the shop around 5 a.m. through the drive through window.

Armed with a machete, the suspect made two employees lie on the floor and forced another to give him cash from the register, WFSB reported. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect left the same way he entered, through the drive through window like a dozen Munchkin doughnut holes and a medium hot coffee.

He fled and fled north on Palm Street, according to a Manchester Police Department news release.
